What’s in season or really popular right now with shoppers?

With the colder weather our yarn is very popular at just $2 a ball for the avid knitters and crocheters. Our new craft line Diamond Art are really on trend at the moment! We also have a diverse range of frames used to display completed art projects.

… and what’s your favourite thing instore at the moment?

Personally, my favourite item in store is the plus green velvet occasional chair featured in our front window!

How long have you been working here?

I have been working for the company for 5 years at the Southgate store.

Are you a big or small crew - how many of you working there?

Our staff is a specialised small team of home decorators and sales assistance that pride themselves in providing excellent customer service!

What’s do you reckon is best part of your job?

The most exciting part of our job is when the new stock arrives and we get to see what the new season trends are.

Our staff are always happy to help our customers in their decision and choices whether it be a $10 gift for mum or a special choice of furniture for their home.

Do you have local customers?

Our regular customers make us smile and we love to have a chat and find out about their day or special project they are doing. It’s a very friendly shopping Centre.

What do you think makes Southgate Square a great community and/or good place to shop?

Southgate Square is a great accessible centre with a variety of stores. It really has a small village feel which is nice.

Name something you like most about working at the centre?

I have to say the coffee at the Palace Espresso Café is my favourite thing at the centre.

Do you have a fave time of year in the centre and if so why?

Christmas trade is my favourite time of he year. The centre has a buzz and I am a sucker for all of the pretty decorations!
